Situation

The municipality of Brail is located at the entrance to the Lower Engadine and is a small hamlet between St. Moritz (approx. 20 minutes) and Scuol (approx. 30 minutes). With its approx. 1017 inhabitants it lies at 1480 meters above sea level and politically belongs to the municipality of Zernez. Brail is an ideal place to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Lower Engadine, but at the same time a perfect starting point for leisure activities throughout the Engadine. It is the gateway to the national park and the starting point for exploring the border triangle between Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
